Of course I realize I'm starting to sound like a fanatic. ;-)</p> <p>I used to always have an LL Bean flannel or two but these days I'm maybe more excited about the more refined versions. I do wear cognac shoes, handbags, and belts quite often to warm things up and provide contrast.&nbsp; </p> <p>I found a lot of my plaid shirts from jcrew factory and madewell this year but I know they may be running low on stock. Something about plaid appeals to me in a very general way. However, finding one that I actually want to take home is kind of like searching for the lost city of Atlantis.</p> <p>When we add in the fact that I live in an area that stays pretty stinking HOT for 9 months each year, it makes it even harder to find a good plaid. </p> <p>I realize none of that is helpful, and I apologise for that. I actually found one that felt worthy at Cato (of all places). It was a lightweight rayon fabric, oversized, button up, tunic length, high-low hem on a clearance rack.</p> <p>I'm going to suggest Western Wear type stores. They carry some of the most interesting patterns on their shirts, even in the men's section.
