Sometimes they go on sale and you can find them cheaper than that online. Another option would be Vans. They are a casula sneaker that are more tapered in the front as opposed to the rounded to of the Converse. I just bought my 11 yo DD two pair this past weekend. And worn is good if your outfit is quite casual. <br /><br />From my POV, Converse All Stars and Keds Champions&nbsp;are classics that you can count on to never go out of style. And they are both shoes that you can mix with dressier pieces pretty easily. If you are going to add two pairs to your sneaker wardrobe, I would go with one, go-with-anything solid. I would make the second pair funky and fun.
