They are not short, but I think the foot should be the same.</p> <p>I am a definite 8.5 with a slightly wide, no arch foot; always B width because C width makes a shoe too big. My Carsons are size 8 and feel a little tight in the width. I only wear mine with tights/hosiery. The Frye Taylor and Frye Carsons are appealing, but I'm concerned about the difficulty of getting my foot into the boot.
