Think of it as being in the same category as a brand label on a jacket sleeve, or a closed buttonhole or pocket which is intended to be functional. </p> <p>If you want to keep a vent or pocket closed to overcome fitting issues in RTW, there are better, or at least less visible, techniques a tailor can use to fix the problem.
