Just stuff the stuff in the bag on the way out. If I'm using a tote (which doubles as a carry-all for kids' stuff too) then I'll pop the clutch in to keep my stuff separate and easy to locate. I also have a smaller wallet option which is more like a card case for times when I want to carry a small cross-body bag or clutch and not have to deal with my bigger wallet. I find I'll use the same bag for a few days, so I keep it in the front closet, but when I switch out it goes back to my bedroom closet. I streamlined how much I carry in my bags after my physical therapist gave me a talking to early last year about carrying too much weight on my shoulders.
