I have a couple pairs of Pilcro leggings from a few years ago. They are tts to maybe a little large. I guess I would say if between sizes, size down. Pilcro, btw, is very good quality. Their stet ankles jeans are my favorites. I think I have 5 pairs.
Also, to see if your size is getting low, on the website put 10 or 15 or however many in your cart. If they don't have that many, it will let you know. Just be sure to remove before checking out;)

Thanks for the input, Keturah and Gigi! I will keep that in mind. I may be able to squeeze in a trip to a shop next weekend - do you ladies know how long things stay in stock, typically? I'm never quite asure what my size actually is, since I can wear anything from a 4 to an 8, with the occasional crazy outlier (the skirt in my WIW is marked as a 12, for instance).

Speaking of that skirt... Thank you so much! Unfortuantely, Gigi, I managed to pick it up at a thrift shop this past weekend. I've always loved pencil maxis, and there's a 70s bent to certain of my leanings - and this rang those old-style boho bells for me. Plus, since Angie's posts about olive in the spring, I've found it taking a more prominant place in my wardrobe when I want a warmer feeling colour, so that helped. I wish I could be more helpful, but you might find similar things via Etsy or, if you're more retail-oriented, Free People sometimes carries things along those lines.

ETA: Saw this very similar skirt, but in a different colour that might be of interest?

AnnieMouse, what I have done in the past when I'm not sure about an item is I call a local Anthro and ask if they have it in-store and can comment about the weight of the material, how the sizing runs, etc. Even if they don't carry the actual item in-store, sometimes if you tell them what the label is (it should say on the website), the SA can tell you whether the label in general runs small or large or true to size.

I absolutely love the skirt you have on in your WIW! Where did you get it? I love interesting maxi skirts that are straight cut and that don't billow out at the bottom. But they're very hard to find.

OH! Such beautiful pants!! Please buy them!! Now, I haven't tried on those pants. But I'm about due for an Anthro visit... So I'll keep an eye out for them.

In the meantime. Having purchased and tried on various pieces from Anthro in the last couple years. I find their clothes run true to size, or slightly small. There is no vanity sizing in that store! Sometimes I find an oversized blouse, and in which case I might need to size down. But generally, a size 2 is a size 2, and not size 6 in disguise.

If you're worried about sizing, I'd choose two sizes and order them both. It's a pain, but probably worth it in the long run.

I am not an Anthro girl so cannot comment on that aspect here, but it is great to see you post again, and you look terrific in this combo! Love your hair, too.

The leopard belt adds a fun touch.

Thank you! I've so missed being able to be active here - and being able to talk fashion.

in fact, I'm so out of the habit, that when I went shopping last weekend, it didn't even occur to me to use the app for advice on a potential purchase, instead of texting my hubby. Ha!

Hi, all!

It's been a while since I've had time to post, but I've been poking my head in, oogling your lovely WIWs and transition pieces (thank you for the inspiration, even when you don't know you're doing it :))
Anyhoodle, I'm not super familar with Anthropologie, but I know several of you amazing and stylish ladies do.
I'm currently eyeing the Pilcro Patched Moto Leggings (in olive, which has become my go-to neutral thanks to Angie), and I was wondering if anyone had any experience with them? Getting to a store is unlikely, and with Anthro's shipping... Any feedback is welcome. Haha!

Thanks in advance, ladies (and I hope to be able to spend more time here again soon).

(And just for fun, a terrible WIW pic from today, in the Angie-inspired blush + olive combo. I love the outfit, though the picture is terrible)
