I just love the premise of Lauren's line. So simple. Hey, if I look like that woman at any age I will be thrilled!

I can't imagine MAC wouldn't have a color for you, but you never know.

Let us know what you find!

Rosie, the BE color that I have goes well for my under eyes but not my cheeks. So I might try their Bisque color. Come to think of it, maybe the Bo-ing problem is also a better color match and not a concealing problem...hmmmm. I Love Lauren Hutton's stuff ( you look quiet young so this may not be relevent ), it is almost gel like but covers well for me and doesn't settle in my lines at all. It is really amazing.

Rute, I haven't tried MAC in years ! I used to wear their stuff but then the formulation and colors changed and it stopped working for me. I will have to go back and try some at their counter.

Rosie! Nice to find another make-up addicted!

I have boing (well, I guess I have tried almost every known concealer...), but my skin is mixte and it does get in the creases.

My favorite is MAC select cover up, nice cover and it lasts all day!

Ha! We have many of the same concealers. I have the YSL and the Eye Bright. I don't have Boing, though, and Lauren Hutton's sounds great. I have always wanted to try her line.

Have you tried the BE? Concentrating a bit more on those spots? And the Boing doesn't work? If you are comfortable with the laser then I think it's the kind of thing that helps.

Let me know what you like!! Some other ladies will have fantastic insight as well, I'm sure.

Thanks Rosie !!! I will go to the beauty counter and give those a try.

Regarding my eye concealer, it is a mix. Literally. I mix a little #2 YSL Eclat with Bo-ing an then pat on a little Bare Escentuals powder concealer on top. This really works well for me and lasts for most of the day.

Though I have to say, that when I am in a hurry and in my purse ( I carry pencils ), I LOVE and carry Lauren Hutton's concealer for "yellow" skin , it is FANTASTIC for skin over 40 and Benefit's Eye Bright.

Those two combinations are really great for me and stay put. Angie's post on cosmetic procedures was timely. Maybe I should just do the laser on those two spots.

Thank you so much again for replying !!!! ( You were Very helpful..I now have a direction to go in and a sense of the consistency of the material .)

I do LOVE makeup...and I'm thankful you have not asked me about eye concealer...which one do you love? I have an abundance of them because each time I get over-tired I blame it on the concealer!

I have to say I have not spent too much time with face concealers, but I think that Laura Mercier's Secret Camouflage does a really good job on the face and stays put. You don't want too liquidy a formula because it won't last. If you have generally great skin it doesn't seem like you'd need a heavy foundation if you found the right spot concealer. I haven't tried it, but CoverFX is supposed to have really great concealer. I think Jane Iredale also has one that is good for hyperpigmentation.

I wish I could be more helpful. The other way you could go would be to try a stick foundation. They are much drier than liquids and stay put pretty well. Just stay away from creamy concealers, illuminating concealers, pretty much anything with a wand because I don't think they'd stay put.

Hi Rosie, I have "heard" that you are the make-up guru here...though I would appreciate anyone's feedback.

I have spent decades in search of a good concealer for my under eyes. Luckily, I found it a few years ago. But nothing I use seems to work on a couple of age spots that I have on my face. Should I use a heavy foundation ( just dabs ) and a concealer ???

This really bugs me because otherwise my skin looks good and I am just plain mad because I use sunscreen everyday ( for over 25 years ) and I was never a sunbather.

Suggestions for the great cover up please !!!
