I ordered the half size up based on Angie's recommendation. My feet are not wide but they are on the wider side of normal, I think.( I sometimes experience squishing across the broadest part of my foot in some shoes I try.) The 7.5 fit perfectly with and without socks. They are maybe a tiny bit short, length-wise, but not so much that it causes any problems.
