I love the look of this shoe and especially like the brown metallic color but they were not comfortable when I tried them on (and like Shiny, I had to go up a half size to make them work). Something about the edge of the shoe hits my feet in a weird way. I do think they are beautiful shoes so I am happy that they work for you!

Hee hee. Oh well, you don't sound like a Me Too fan to me, so I don't know if you really want to give them another try. I on the other hand am a happy duck

Cool. Maybe I'll give them a try. I had the Swans and gave them away because they would not stay on my feet even with all sorts of extra pads in them. I also did not like that they are so flimsy with no support. How can a person walk 8 hours with a flimsy shoe? I guess I could do it when I was younger. I walked bare foot everywhere in San Diego. No more, I need support. Remember I wore workboots for 20 years.
I also don't like the looks of some flats. The flimsyness gives the impression of duck feet. I know that opinion is in the minority.

A quick follow-up on this: I did order the Nyle 5 style flats from Me Too and am so absolutely thrilled that I did. I wore them traveling to San Francisco last weekend, plus the last 2 days here in Seattle as the weather has been pretty mild. I don't even take them off first thing when I get home in the evening (usually I get into my slippers as soon as I enter the house.) They are SO comfortable. And so versatile! I got them in pewter and I think there is nothing that I could not wear them with color-wise. Such a stylish neutral.

I joined the Me Too fan club!

I'm not sure what style I have, but for me they are 14 hour shoes - easily! I wore them all over Paris nearly every day for two weeks. I'm still wearing them when weather permits. They are my "go-to" shoes.

TIP: I went up a half size! I am finding that for flats I need the extra 1/2 size (6-1/2) because my foot grows as the hours wear on. Especially if I'm not wearing socks to suck up sweat. This is not just Me-too: it's any flat style shoe with little arch support. I still need size 6 for heels because my foot slides forward in the 6-1/2.

I did try on other Me-Too styles this summer that were NOT comfortable for me at all. So it is definetly style specific. Try on, experiment, find what works - then duplicate.

My 2 cents:

I have those Me Too Nyle in Pewter... I love them! I did get blisters but broke them in after the second wear... now I wear them every weekend! I am even thinking of getting another one in a different color!

I like the squishiness of Me Toos but find that they are too wide in the heel area for me. It's a shame because they are really cute, but I couldn't really call them city walking shoes. If you take them to SF, I'd keep a backup pair just in case.

I found a pair at TJMaxx (don't know the style name) and they are almost as comfy as my running sneakers. I'm so happy I found a pair. I have walked several miles in them already. I'm planning on getting my mom a pair for Christmas because she will only wear comfy shoes.

THanks everyone! Sounds like there are mixed reviews on other Me Too styles. I decided to order the ones I linked to initially, and will wear them around the house for a couple orders to see if they feel truly comfortable. If they are comfy, I'll take them to San Francisco this weekend to put them to the true test.

The brand’s comfort level is definitely style specific. I just walked HK flat in my Swanns (14 hours a day and I am not exaggerating).

The style you have selected cuts into skin and do not work for my feet. But they are fabulous and I am ms. fussy feet! They might work for you.

After reading the forums, I purchased three pairs of Me Toos at TJ Maxx. I definitely agree with Julijuli that they are very comfortable but none of them are 8 hours shoes for me. Good luck!

Antje I now have 2 pair of Me Too shoes and they are both very comfy. However, I don't think it's universal for the brand as I did have the shoes that Tanya referred to and they were *painful*! I really think you need to try them on as one pair I have is defintely 8 hour, but the other pair (which are a little pointier at the top) are more like 4 -5 hour shoes.

I have total of 6 pairs of different Me Too shoes ( flats, wedges and heels) and they are all very comfortable, I think it has something to do with the padding in the foot bed. I have a pair of flats that are not Swanns, and they are as comfy as the Swann style is. I don't have that particular Nyle style, but i don't see how they could be any different. The only style I remember Angie warning us against is this one:
http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/34878475/c/29315.html

I think she said that the edge can cut into the foot.

I've heard lots of raves about the comfort of the Me Too Swann flats. I'm curious: Are Me Too flats generally that comfortable or is it just that specific style?
I'm considering getting a pair of flats that will hold up for 8 hr city walking etc. and was looking at the "Nyle 5" style: http://www.zappos.com/n/p/dp/43950429/c/554.html
Anyone own this pair and can talk about the comfort level? THanks!
