I just wanted to add that in one of my sewing classes, the teacher showed us how to sew by hand and her stitches were just plain invisible. I was super amazed. So it can be done and I would definitely second checking out YouTube. Good luck!

Be sure to press (iron) it after all steps, including after machine sewing the long sides right before turning. Turning is easier after it has been pressed and you get a better finished product.

I push the needle into the folded seam about 1/16th of an inch & then come out & straight across into the opposite folded seam & do the same & do this until I'm done. Sorry I don't have a video.

An alternative could be - and I don't bother with the stuff - slipping a piece of thin fusible interfacing in between and pressing the opening together and sealing it.

Vildy is right! Luckily there are lots of good tutorials on You Tube for stuff like this.

You sew it by hand. You roll/turn the raw edges in so that it looks like the same width as the rest of the tie. Best thing to do is look around, Youtube maybe, for a tutorial on blind stitching.

this has really driven me nuts and i can't find an answer anywhere neither do I have anyone who can show me what to do.
For example, if you are sewing a belt(I am just using this as an example), usually you sew the two pieces of fabric together, leave a small opening, then turn the item right side out and press it. However, you still have this small opening that you used to turn the item through.
My question is-how do you sew the opening closed so its unoticable? I am sorry if this sounds like a stupid question
