I think the easiest way would be to look at their recent posts list instead of using search. You can reach this from their profile page. It is the "Forum Posts" button under their profile picture. In fact, most places you see someone's profile picture there will be a link nearby to go to their forum posts.

The "correct" solution would be for the search feature to support searching only the posts from a particular user. That is something I'll put on my to do list.

Many times, I remember that someone posted a thread a couple of days ago, and I would like to return to it. So I try searching for the person's screen name. The results only seem to turn up posts in which the person was mentioned.

Is there a better way for me to achieve this?
