First of the big news -- I got my husband into his first designer jeans ever! And, more importantly, his best fitting jeans ever. They'll be ready on Friday and I cannot wait to get rid of 8 pairs of Levis that are a size too big.</p> <p>Ok, my experience with The Skirt is that it is LONG. This may be in for fall, but my salesperson agreed it looks frumpy. I have really run the gamit of sizes over the past 2 years to find the right size and have been wearing a 4 regular. I think this one actually runs a little bigger. I got a 2 in the regular and am having it hemmed and a 4P in another color, and it will be perfect. I got the red, and the blue ocean -- gorgeous colors!</p> <p>I am a size 6 in real life....these sizes have really been all over the place lately, I think. I didn't get the "ruching across the hips" effect that I do with the non-petite skirt, so I think the cut still works for my body. When I tried a size up, the skirt was a bit too big and the waistband sat lower on me.</p> <p>At least if you're a 6P, the new skirt is not running a full size smaller. At most, the skirt runs a quarter to half size smaller. An 8P would be too large in the new skirt.
