Thanks Angie! Lucky guess... ;)

Thanks Marina! I'll definitely try that once I have them hemmed. Could be a while though. But it doesn't matter, we're still very far from weather where I would be able to wear them. Just starting my planning early this year. :)

Thanks Aquamarine!

This length looks good to me too.

After you get them in the length we saw in those pictures I think you may also try them rolled up between your knee and above your calves largest part ( I have pear tendencies and a short waist too and this sort of in-between length with visible rolling works quite well for my large hips. I'm not sure if this actually works for pear shapes and/or short waists in general or if it has to do with my calves being long, but if it works you may have 2 pants in 1

Thanks everyone! Seems I have my length. Glad the hemming is going to work with these jeans, I think they'll make great work bottoms too. And they now fit without a belt which is awesome for warmer weather.

I like them there too. If you made them shorter they'd be at a narrower point on the leg. Sometimes this can make the legs "catch" on the calves when you stand up, which is super annoying.

Thanks everyone! And just to clarify, these aren't yet this short. I folded them inside for the pictures. They look like too short straight legs left long. And not deliberate crops. This was the length I thought I could hem them to!

I like the length too.
Have you tried cuffing them to see how you like them shorter?
I like crops with cuffs/rolled up instead of a plain hem.

The length looks good to me, too, Astrid! I recall Angie offered advice on intentional lengths for crops, but can't find it now. I believe she said about 3 inches (7,5 cm) above the ankle bone?

I had these jeans taken in at the waist before my Rome trip and now they finally fit well on top. But, they are a bit short now that they sit right and not in a good way. I don't want to do any more jeans shopping in the near future now that I have that other new pair I like, so I wondered if I could maybe hem these to breathe new life into them as an option for spring/summer. I'm quite unsure about the length, however. I don't care much about making myself look taller or anything, but I want it to look like a deliberate length. Does that even work with these jeans? I'm totally clueless. And sorry for the dishevelled look...

ETA

Just to clarify, the legs are folded inside in these pictures. This was the length I thought was the best.
