It is a very stiff denim and the buttons would be a big problem for anyone with long fingernails. It was OK but not fab. I felt like the jacket was wearing me, it was so structured. They did have a more traditional one that was cropped and had a great fitted waist (XS on me), but it was not dark denim and it had those deliberately faded areas (not dramatic, but they were there.)<br /> Talbots has a nice one in denim and colors ...if you can wear epaulets.<br /> I brought home a just-in Jones New York Signature jacket in dark stretch denim with fitted waist and big gold buttons. I'm not sure about those buttons. It's going back because it's too long (to the hip) on me to wear with skirts and dresses, but would work with pants, in case anyone is interested. The dark denim and gold buttons give it more of a finished look.<br /> So...if anyone comes across a great little cropped dark denim jacket, please keep me in mind.
