The classic wash is pretty dark, but with a subtle bit of fading around the knee. I like them. I have had my eye out for a second, darker pair of Dres for a while now. I've been wearing the bradford ones a awful lot since I got them for my birthday in August. I wanted darker ones to wear with my brown "workman-style" boots, and short red booties. (What looks better than dark indigo jeans with a pair of red booties?). Finally found them at Aritzia this week, if you're interested. (You live in Canada, right?).

Yes! You're right. I sometimes roll them a bit thinner and sometimes a bit wider. And I think maybe when I do the narrower roll I like to go four times...but it does get tricky. I will try to experiment a bit tomorrow to remind myself. I just sort of do it in my sleep, you know? :)

They are awesome jeans, indeed. Is the "classic" wash a darker wash? That could be useful. I have my TR Camerons and now my (inherited from DD) GAP original fit selvedge jeans in dark wash for now but might keep an eye on that wash for future reference!

That looks like three times, Suz. And it looks just fine -- not bulky at all. But yours are cuffed wider. Maybe that's all I need to do -- make wider cuffs! I'll try it out.

(High five for awesome jeans! I bought a second pair in the 'classic' wash -- like you, I also have the 'Bradford' wash).

Well, I have the same question.

Actually, I can get away with three folds to show the ankle, but it does get bulky even then. And so far I have left mine full length because that way I can wear them cuffed at full length. And I can't with my TR Camerons that I had hemmed.

Can you show a pic?

I think mine are folded three times in the pic below but it might be four times...I would have to try them on tomorrow to check.

I now have two pairs of R&B 'Dre' boyfriend skinnies, and they might be my favourite style of jeans ever. I am in love. However, they are sold cuffed (folded twice), and are meant to reveal the ankle of the wearer, as shown on the model in the image below. On my petite frame, of course, they are full-length, which is normally welcome. However, I have a few pairs of shoes I'd like to wear them with so my ankle shows. This means I have to fold them up two more times, so a total of four folds. Is this too bulky? I think it's OK but would rather have no more than three folds. I would prefer not to hem them because I want there to be a cuff even if I wear them full length.

Anyone have an opinion on this?

ETA I guess I could make wider cuffs and only cuff it three times. Now that I look properly at the image, the cuffs on the model are way wider than how I wear them on my jeans. Do you think wider cuffs look OK? Normally I have about 1.5" cuffs.
