Now THAT is one I have never heard Jenava! May try that with a different pair of shoes ;-)

That is interesting that you notice the one-foot issue too Kristen. Good to hear the shoes is not uncomfortable though.I have now put these bots on and off a bunch of times and they seem to be fitting better each time--or am I talking myself into it?

I have the exact same issue with my Aquatalia's too! I have found that it really just depends on the day; if my feet are swollen in the slightest it feels it on the one foot, but on a normal day it's not an issue. I have worn them regardless and it hasn't been a problem walking or with fit.

This might sound crazy, but I've heard you can fill a zip lock bag partially with water. Stick it in the shoe, and the freeze it. (-: make sure you've closed the bag securely, obviously...

Thanks for the info JG, it helps alot! The material is suede, not buttery soft but pretty soft overall. It has alot of "give" and is not stiff.

I have a couple pairs of Aquatalia's. One is a snake pump (stretched some) & another is a black patent leather bootie (stretched some as well). However, I think it really depends on the material. Is the leather a soft buttery leather or a hard leather? I have some Donald Pliner (really hard leather booties) that I've taken & had stretched & they are still a little snug. Fit is definitely key though! Best of Luck!

Hmm, that's worth trying Megan. Thanks for the suggestion! I tried them on, AGAIN, and tonight they feel a bit looser but not perfect.Perhaps I am asking too much from shoes that are brand new. Clearly I have been spoiled by my Ecco leather boots which felt like a blanket as soon as I slipped my foot into them...

You could try rubbing the inside of the right boot with leather conditioning cream then wearing for as long as possible- it helped stretch out my too tight patent shoes.

Thanks Angie and Jonesy! I am debating the stretching option. The cobbler we have nearby is a bit pricey(and there isn't another person for quite some distance), so I am weighing the price of the shoes and wearing them versus his stretching them for a price but not necessarily getting them comfortable.Must walk around the house in them some more. I think if I keep having the cautionary tight-foot feeling they will need to go back I was hoping they might stretch a little on their own a some leather shoes tend to, but given that these are specially treated perhaps they will NOT stretch?

They are beautiful! I second the stretching recommendation (not that you need any other advice after Angie has offered hers :).

Hi Angie and YLF family,
I bought a pair of light colored Aquatalia boots thinking they were my answer to a longtime wardrobe WANT/need of light colored shoes. The boots are lovely BUT the right foot is a bit tight over the top of my mid-foot.The footbed is fine, height is perfect etc.The left foot is fine, not surprisingly since my right is slightly bigger.

From your experience, do leather Aquatalia boots/shoes stretch much? If not, these need tpo go back I think. It does not hurt to wear but is not as comfortable as I would like on that right foot. Got them on sale but they were still not cheap...

Thanks everyone!
