I will pick Raptor booties in a month when I go to Boston on vacation and we will see then....<br /> Angie, I understand what you mean about chunky style with a heel and why Raptor can be a good model for me. What I am struggling with is how to identify others which do not look like the Raptors but still may work. I thought that Clarks Nottinghill should work too as they are chunky and with the heel - but do they? For Michelle, the Bella Vitas are regular black leather with a black suede "cuff" at the top that contrasts in texture. I think it would also give the feeling of a lower vamp when worn with black tights or leggings because the cuff falls over the top of the actual vamp, if that makes sense.
