Also, the crotch is intended to be low, like a few inches below. So on me, these two have the effect of a regular length pant. However if you are tall or have longer legs, these kinds of pants will look short.</p> <p>I love Zara. But I have also purchased things that don't work size wise. Denim in particular. I quite like it myself. It IS a dress and shirt. I'm a bit askew in the pic from all the dressing and undressing at Zara's. The shirt is pretty cool, if I don't say so myself. My solution was to size up one extra to make it REALLYYYYY slouchy Also, I did see several pleated baggy-but-not-slouchy pants out there, so perhaps that's what you tried on. Totally dig the outfit! Yay! It was very exciting!</p> <p>I did try on jackets and coats (ooh, a lot of stylish coats), but I walked away. That was very good.</p> <p>On the other hand, I bought a pair of blue pinstripe pants that don't qualify as slouchy. That was bad.</p> <p>Ok, but about the quest for slouchy trousers: I am wondering if I have a long inseam for my size. I tried on pants that I'm pretty sure were meant to be slouchy, but they hung straight down. No... louche-ness as I'm calling it. But maybe I don't know what slouchy pants look like when I see 'em on the hanger?</p> <p>There was a pair of harem pants that I really liked, but the ankles hit my calves. I couldn't do up the ankle zips.</p> <p>Saturday morning I will go for the second Zara. I gather they *are* very different stores.</p> <p>Attached is a pic of what I'm wearing today. Not the most practical for shopping. If only I'd decided to go before I got dressed this morning! </p>
