Even though it'a only an inch, that was what a lot of girls in high school did. I never understood the look then, and I certainly wouldn't do it now. Everyone rolled the kilt above the knees, but some went a lot higher than that and exposed themselves to evil 14-year-old-girl cattiness at its worst! It was the ugliest thing going- red and green kilt, white blouse, green sweater, black knee high socks and black shoes. She had the hem folded over her right leg showing the inside of the hem. She look down at her skirt and folded over them hem all the way around showing only the inside of the hem. Like She wanted it fold up all along but it came unfolded. EDIT: She only rolled it up righ along the stitching of the hem one time. IT was only shotened about an inch. Why would she do it?</p> <p>Is this a new style of wearing a jean skirt? Do any of you girls fold over your jean skirts like this? Thanks. Vicki </p>
