I was thinking the exact opposite of Rachylou and Eden. I thought the polka dot which is trendy now, with the shear over solid was less timeless that the first dress in a solid. I also prefer the way the bow is structured in the first one as it gives a slight V and doesn't create that little keyhole at the neck.
