Some are old like the black snake clutch in 1. Some are expensive like the black Kooba cross body in 2. But many are thrifted or big sale items to learn what I like to use. I'd like a large metallic clutch and a larger tomato red bag. My most used are grey, silver or pewter. Sylvie on "Purses - post your collection" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/purses---post-your-collection#post-1046466 Mon, 07 Oct 2013 06:59:06 +0000 Sylvie 1046466@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ Hope it's ok to bump a 3 day old thread as I didn't have a chance to add to it last week :) All of these are post-YLF and many were bought in the past year.  I didn't include two gear bags by Tom Bihn (crossbody and shoulder bag). 1) Blue shoulder bag - rarely used but comes in handy sometimes. 2) Cognac crossbody - only used once - should purge since cognac isn't my color 3) Gold shoulder/hand bag: Summer workhorse 4) Green shoulder/crossbody: My go to non-fancy crossbody 5) Black shoulder bag: Can be dressed up or down 6) Longchamps tote: Very handy! 7) Red clutch: Also very useful 8) Purple crossbody/shoulder: Nice for when I want a large bag 9) Red shoulder bag: Another workhorse 10 Black/white clutch/shoulder/crossbody: This one is a little precious.  The chain strap makes it a little harder to wear without fussing and it doesn't have the structure to be carried as a clutch easily. 11) Shiny minaudiere:  Love the look, wish it were larger 12) Yellow crossbody/shoulder:  Same as #8 I like that I have (almost) every color of the rainbow represented.  Many of my bags are convertible to be carried in multiple ways, which is essential to me.  I consider my bag collection complete, but I definitely could find space for: a teal/blue/green bag(s) a more useful minaudiere a small brightly colored bag Suz on "Purses - post your collection" https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/topic/purses---post-your-collection#post-1044279 Thu, 03 Oct 2013 21:34:58 +0000 Suz 1044279@https://youlookfab.com/welookfab/ My goodness, look at all the great bags here!  This is my collection. Burgundy vintage Coach crossbody. (I use it as a clutch mostly).  5. Gold clutch (vintage, from my mother.) 6. Bright pink Danier daytime clutch/ cross body. (Fun bag for summer). 7. I'm searching for the perfect black bag still. 1. a. The metallic Coach Crossbody is my go-to weekend bag.     b.  This giant white Coach shoulder bag is also slightly metallic and was a          gift from my husband. I'm not a white bag person - and ruin everything,          so I find myself babying this bag. I don't like to baby bags! 2. Dooney Florentine Satchel - love, love, LOVE this bag so much - the color is a nice cognac and goes with everything. 3. Longchamp large tote - This is my rainy day work bag/shopping bag, travel bag. 4. Rebecca Minkoff MAC Clutch in Metallic Navy. The smallest bag I have, nice for short outings. 5. Saddleback Leather Large Satchel - I had to have this, it's been over a year and it's breaking in nicely. I wanted a cross body bag that was dressy enough for work, but could hold a lot. This is the perfect bag. It also converts to a full backpack, which has come in handy more that a few times. 6. Saddleback Leather small tote - this is my everyday bag, what I reach for most often. Open top, holds a ton and is indestructible - top qualities for a work bag. 7. Will Leather Liverpool tote - Had to have this when I saw it...red is my color! This one is good for loading up also.  It's another of my work bags. I did a brief survey and I have over 30.  In my defense, I accessorize a lot with bags. And I tend to buy nice quality, leather bags in classic styles or styles with good longevity at least.  I still have my first nice (leather) bag purchase: a Coach bag from the '80s. After tucking it away for a long time, it is now vintage and wearable again.  I actually wore it last weekend!    Your purses look lovely. One of the ideas was to start one for purses, so here goes. I have to share that when I pulled all these purses out for photographing I was surprised at the volume. I seem to have hoarded a few. I really only use 2, 10 and 12. 1. Nine West black purse/knapsack. Quite old and not used in many yrs 2. Danier bag from this season 3. Nine West burgundy hobo 4. Fossil  - new last year.
