(Perhaps more of a summer taupe?) The silver hardware also is a dealbreaker for some, considering my Dark Autumn palette. Conversely, some feel the style is more classic, thus being more versatile.&nbsp;</p> <p>The fringe on the burgundy could be great for my boho self <i>or</i> could get old quickly. Conversely, the burgundy has more capacity. Several of you &nbsp;have a similarly shaped burgundy purse and love it!&nbsp;</p> <p>The other solution is to buy both -- which I am absolutely considering!!</div><div><br /></div><div>At this point, I'm leaning toward the burgundy, or buying both. I do like the cream but I already felt a little unsure about the color temperature. However, I <u>adore</u> the foldover shape and design. Also, it is a top notch Italian leather and is substantial and heavy. The burgundy is a little outside my wheelhouse due to the fringe. It suits a dark autumn palette better than the almond. The almond seems to lean cool/beige. Also it seems to have silver hardware, so it doesn’t suit the DA palette that well. The gold hardware on the burgundy is a better fit.</p> <p>I think the fringe has a nice Bohemian vibe. I have had fringed bags before but am not into fringe ATM. If you are not sure, maybe wait for something else to come up? I think there are lots of burgundy bags around ATM because it’s trending. You are bound to find something you like better.</p> <p>Also, you could consider cognac or dark brown as alternatives.</p> <p>This is my favourite burgundy bag. I had a much less nice but similar coloured bag in my 20s and it was also a workhorse! Mind you, I use this as a travel bag a lot, when I need to carry a ton of stuff (out all day, not returning to accommodation). What can be annoying is the fact that it's so big and slouchy, stuff can get lost. But even so, it's a winner.&nbsp;</p> <p>I like the lighter bag for the contrast. Both fit my style. </p> <p>I've included my wardrobe in finds below for color reference. As you can see, my autumn/winter palette consists of deep autumn gold, wine, plum, warmer and cooler deep greens, rust, and some burnt orange. I have a couple of cream blouses as well, though not sure if how much they'll be worn. Neutrals include chocolate, black, and camel. </p> <p><b>1-3. Almond beige tooled leather foldover bag.</b> I've had this purse pinned in my favorites for some time. I am worried about the contrast level with my other clothes.</p> <p><b>4-6. Wine leather fringe slouch/hobo bag.</b> This came up in searches. The color fits well. I like the fringe and yet, I'm not sure about it. I've never had a fringed bag before. </p> <p>Thoughts?  </p>
