I couldn't find a cropped jacket that I was really pleased with, but I did find a longer trench coat with a full-ish skirt that looks much better with my skirts. My batteries are dead, so no pictures just yet, but I think it's a big improvement.</p> <p>(And Angie - yep, I'm 5'2". Im not a jacket expert but to my eye it looks a little short in length but maybe it's the skirt length that throwing it off a it and also the sleeves are a little too long. I kind of suspected the same thing - awkward length to wear with skirts. I think it would probably good with pants, but I have no pants other than for gym use, so that doesn't really help much. Perhaps I'll head back to the shops tomorrow and see if I can find something either shorter or longer. I think either would be better than the awkward mid-length. It's always skirts (usually full skirts) and dresses, and I've never been sure what kind of jacket looked good with skirts. After way too much time in the mall yesterday, I came home with this dark purple (looks black in the pictures, but it's really more of a dark plum or eggplant or something) jacket. I loved it yesterday, but after trying it on with a million things today, I'm not 100% sure. What do you think - is it okay with a full skirt, or is it weird and I should try again? Or is it just overall a bad jacket and I should not make shopping decisions after 18 hours awake?
