In the first 30 items, 8 were the darker colors, so between a quarter and a third. As a teenager, purple was my favorite color. My bedroom was purple and I wore a lot of purple, much to my mother’s distress. I do find it quite costumey in its purest forms and worn like Gaga here… but she *is* basically in costume so fair enough.<br /> No shade as I suspect most people who would choose the boldest versions can also pull it off.
