I'm ususally a 9 in Frye shoes and boots, but the 9 in this shoe was a bit large and made my feet look like boats. The 8 1/2 fits better. Maybe I'll actually wear them today since its cool enough outside. The eggplant color is to die for and they are comfortable as can be. I had to size up a half-size for width because they are narrow, otherwise they supposedly run large.
