Oh I’m so sorry to hear about your accident and the resulting injuries.
I’m a Laundry fan too. Just donated my cream one that was still very wearable after at least 10years. I have a black one that’s a workhorse too, must be same age. Wishing you a speedy recovery.

I love Laundry by Shelli Segal. I have a down puffer that is SO warm, comfortable, has flattering seaming, allows for my large bust (38H) and it's in been that great for 11 years! 10 of which was in Minnesota, now in Central Illinois. Won't get too much wear this winter, cuz last week while I was just getting out of bed, I fell, fracturing my Tibia (main calve bone) in 3 places, Fibula (supporting bone) in 2 places, needed a metal plate with several screws put in, requiring 6 weeks of no weight bearing on that leg. Surgeon said I must have Osteoporosis to have hurt it that badly from a simple, in home fall, ugh!

Agree that Lands End and L.L. Bean are cut more generously, and also that Patagonia and North Face seem narrower.

I’d start with LL bean as their fits are over all less athletic and in general they are cut more generously. I’d stay away from the north face and Patagonia as they tend to cut slimmer and more fitted.

I have a CK one from years ago. It is starting to look dated, but it has the basic feature of a cinched waist, which flatters a larger bust, if you get the right size.

I have had trouble finding puffers that can accommodate a fuller breast/curvier figure. Granted I started with the more athletic brands but most that I try on fit except that they compress my chest/hinder arm movement. They are cut for a straighter figure. Looking for suggestions of brands that you’ve had luck with providing more room at the chest. Are there construction elements that I should be looking for? (Like I look for darts in blouses) For example I saw the Woolrich coat Angie had in her post had a diagonal seam at the chest and wonder if that would provide some additional space.
