Thanks for the feed back!
Aida- I feel the shoulders are tight in the smaller one. But the larger one seems so large in the waist/ hips.
Yes, I will keep hunting.
Elizabeth-I am tall with long arms and broad shoulders, small bust and curvy bottom so I think pearish. I usually find north face short in the arms. I will try them again this year. I usually stick to "tall" sizes to get longer sleeves which means lands end or Eddie Bauer, I liked the styling on this one so gave it a shot.
Banoffi- thanks, I like the look too, but fear with layers it will end up feeling too snug.

The larger looks a bit better in the shoulder and the arms seem to be a better length. I don't notice any baggies or extra room in the hip.

Elizabeth, perhaps opting for shoulder fit and being OK with extra hip width is an IT thing as I am exactly the same way

Are you an IT? I ask because I have always had a hard time with puffers, to get the shoulders right, they often are big through the hips. I do think the smaller one looks like it's pulling across the shoulders, at least in the first one. Feeling like it's pulling is one thing, having it LOOK like it's pulling is another. I much prefer the correct shoulder fit and some extra hip room. Anyway, what I really wanted to say was that the North Face one that Angie got at NAS fits me perfectly. I was shocked by how well. So you might be better off keeping on looking for a brand that suits your shape, if you're not totally happy with this one

The shoulders do look a little snug to me in #1-3, don't know how much it bothers you but it would bother me. I don't mind the more loose look in #4-5 though as you said cold could certainly creep in underneath if not snug enough. Will let others who are more puffer savvy chime in but my inclination is neither :\

So...left over nas laundry puffer dilemmas!!
I have been trying to decide which puffer to keep. This week's temp is finally into the 70s instead of 80s and was able to layer a sweater under these for once. I think the smaller size is better, the larger one has less shape. I was hoping you all could help me decide, but I'm not sure the pics are helpful.
I am near Chicago, winter is loooong. I have quite a collection of puffers. This one is not black (almost) and light for running errands, in and out of car etc.

1-3 size large. ? Tight in shoulders? Do I look like a sausage?
4-5 extra large. Feels loose in the hips, and like coldness will creep in from beneath....

Thanks for any input! It's all appreciated!!
