This length doesn't work with mules/slides! Then, I will trim them with my unsteady hands and not optimally sharp shears.</p> <p>Wide leg jeans are hard for me to fit, but in general I think pants that sit at my actual waist work better for my pancake caboose. These are also cut like a pair of corduroy pants I had in college, also without side pockets.</p> <p>P.S. I feel like cropped lengths have dominated for so long… I wouldn’t cut them or hem them, I’d just wear with a substantial sole to keep the hems from actually dragging on the ground. What do you think of them as puddle pants? They are supposed to be cropped, but of course I am short with short legs. My thinking is that I can always hack them next spring.
