I do wear boxy jackets, but most of mine are quite cropped. I wear them over tunics and dresses that have some waist definition (not necessarily body con, just more fitted). To my eye, #2 seems either too long or too short for a boxier style. But, again, that is just my personal preference. Nipping the waist may not even work with the overall style/cut of the jacket -- which I think is intentionally a bit boxier. But it is worth a shot. That being said, there is absolutely nothing wrong with #2. It is a nice jacket. I just think that the other two are more traditionally figure flattering -- but that doesn't have to be a priority every time we dress. It's interesting that pretty much everyone likes 1 and 3, and 2 not so much. 2's fabric is really nice - very smooth with a slight stretch. Also I like the pockets. The picture of me in it?
