The company is Revere, and they have an&nbsp;orthotic-style insole. &nbsp;You can order new&nbsp;insoles from them if they wear out or get dirty, or you can replace with your&nbsp;own. <b><i>They&nbsp;also come with extra leather pieces so you can extend the strap lengths</i></b>.&nbsp;To my eye the curved straps are very pretty on the foot, and the straps are&nbsp;adjustable with Velcro in 3 places. I got them in red, and all the other&nbsp;colors are nice. </p> <p>They did not work for me for 2 reasons: 1) the straps were&nbsp;too long for my low volume insteps. Like any shoe with Velcro straps, there is<br /> a limit to how much they can be tightened and still have enough Velcro overlap&nbsp;to keep them secure, and these pushed that limit &nbsp;just beyond the acceptable limit;&nbsp;2) after wearing them for a few days I find&nbsp;the sole is not quite cushy enough and I feel like I’m “pounding the pavement”<br /> after wearing for a few hours, feeling stress in my heel, knees, hips. I don’t&nbsp;have particular fussy feet or super thin padding on my feet, but I still need a&nbsp;lot of cushioning. I think it has something to do with how much I weigh vs. the&nbsp;size of my feet….higher PSI (pounds per square feet) than some people, plus it gets&nbsp;worse as joints age and are less resilient. &nbsp;</p> <p>JUST SAYING NO. I will be returning them. On to the next possibility for red sandals. &nbsp;</p>
