The celebration was lovely. A young boho mom engaged a wedding venue for her mom’s memorial, and the crowd was heavy on her friends as well as all the older friends of her deceased mom. A sweet load of kids.&nbsp;<br />Dress fit right in with a topper. Dinner at upscale restaurant after. Rolled into a ball to go home in the duffle.&nbsp;<br />Road tested! It shakes out with little wrinkle after being rolled up and a damp hang up took care of that. Excellent travel dress.&nbsp;<br />It was quite comfortable to wear. A midaxi length would be more useful, so it’s going to the alterations lady.&nbsp;<br />If off-white is your neutral, I’d get that for summer and transitional seasons. I plan to use this as my go to all year, as it is a dark colour, and with a sweater or warm topper and tights, it will do the work of looking reasonably formal at semi formal events. Nada. So the dress is carrying the ball!<br />No wrinkles out of package, woven tech fabric with smooth hand, not heavy, certainly not too light. Fabric goals. Not at all see through in navy colour and does not telegraph. Already think this is coming on all my travels.&nbsp;<br />It has princess seaming, very well done, provides a little structure. No zipper or closures. Pullover.&nbsp;<br />It’s a royal blue, or almost a purple. So in the navy family, but bright. A good Autumn colour, or a Winter would be lovely in this.&nbsp;<br />It has POCKETS. And a lot of swoosh. I’d dance in this.&nbsp;<br />It’s long on me, bear in mind that this is a large to accommodate wide shoulders and chest, and I am 5 feet tall. This is perfect maxi length on me. It would be midi on you taller ladies.&nbsp;<br />I tried it on with a scarf, a mesh cardigan, and a dark denim blue linen shirt. I will be wearing this with flats, but a pair of kitten heels would be pretty.&nbsp;<br />I think that a sweater or large blouse over this would be great for casual. Will be looking for a topper or two now.&nbsp;<br />Heading to Austin for the celebration, 90 degree heat and indoor/outdoor. Will let you know how it performs.&nbsp;</p> <p> </p>
