It's that situation when you layer tights/slip/skirt and all of those waistbands cut you in half. Slight exaggeration I know, but I do wear slips in summer especially so this is nice to know. It simply has an unfinished edge that lies totally flat against the skin, and the side seams are weighted to hang flat. It's completely invisible under my jersey dresses.
