I wish they were just a little bit narrower, but they are narrow enough to fit my jean legs over (albeit with some slouch from tightness) and I've been wearing them nonstop.</p> <p>I wanted another pair, this time in leather, so I browsed Amazon on a whim and found a pair of black moto booties by Ivanka Trump that just arrived today. I love them! The sale price is very good for the quality, and the shaft fit is PERFECT which I never thought would be possible without alterations. It already runs narrow and I was able to tighten the buckle another notch.</p> <p>Measurements from a size 5.5: 9.75" circumference (tightened--middle buckle notch is probably 10"), 6" shaft, 1" heel.</p> <p>By comparison, the Aldo Cydnee booties have a 10.5" circumference on a 5" shaft, so the visual effect is noticeably wider (larger opening hitting lower on the leg).</p> <p>If anyone else has skinny ankles and wants a slim-fitting taller shaft bootie, I'd definitely recommend these. Haven't worn them out yet but I'm so excited that I had to share. </p>
