On the cool side. It is not lined -- it is a summery, lightweight piece. The fabric is textured in a way that looks a little wrinkled. You are correct that it is 29" long from the back of the collar. I usually wear 4-6 also, 6 in Theory and anything that is narrowly fitted in the shoulders. I'm usually a 6 helmet lang, theory 6 or 8 if the jacket runs small. General sizing 4-6. I don't have an all saints close so I would have to order.
