It's a combination of fit (I think I need something a touch wider and lower) and matching: First I decided I wasn't going to keep the white jeans that had sent me on the hunt for nude heels in the first place, and then I saw Makrame's post about her Okalas&nbsp;and realized how much more I liked the "bookended" look of dark shoes and dark hair (I have dark hair). If I see a pair of Okalas with a darker toe and a lighter strap (like the pony-print ones everyone loved last summer), I might go for those. It doesn't work on all the shoes -- out of curiosity, I tried putting the leopard-print Okalas in my cart (only available in 4.5M anyway), but I didn't get the double discount on them.</p> <p>But if anyone else wants to try, you may be able to get the ones I did for $66 (regular price $110). Or perhaps find some other shoes at a bargain price...? </p>
