Since the black version of the ruched jersey skirt has not returned to Anthro stock, I thought some of you might be interested in this as an alternative.</p> <p>I'm dressing despite the weather today. It's not cold but it continues to rain and i'm soooooo sick of it. I haven't taken the tag off (you can see the plastic in the side view) and I'm trying this tucked with my old chambray Levi's shirt. Normally I avoid tucking, but since the skirt sits a little lower on my waist/hip, it doesn't seem as out-of-balance as tucked tops normally do on me. </p> <p>What do you think? I'm inclined to cut tags and keep. It's lighter and breezier than the Anthro version. I could even get it taken in a little to make it slightly more pencil-ish, but I'm not feeling like that's necessary. </p> <p>My hair is still damp so it doesn't look quite right. my hairstylist cut it a little shorter than I wanted, but it grows fast. He cut a lot out of the shorter side to emphasize the asymmetry, but I'm not sure it really shows. The color is a little dark now but that will soften too -- you can't see it in this light but there is a little balayage in the longer side. I'll try to get pics when I have better light. </p> <p>Snoozing Sunny Bunny in the background. </p>
