Even a lightweight merino can be too much sweater for those fluctuating conditions, so I look for the lightest weight topper I can find in either linen or cotton. I've had both and they work well.</p> <p>Since have to pick up something at Uniqlo in the next few days, I'll look for the merino sweater you mentioned and check it out. If I think it'll work, I'll certainly grab it. Very useful to me for an ACed office and to wear on cooler summer mornings/evenings.&nbsp;<div>My requirements for them are not extensive - must be natural fibers, in my main colors and in a classic cut. But as a petite person with a short torso, I usually struggle to find the length that suits me, often cardigans in retail are too long on me.<br />I heard from a fashion blogger about good ones from Uniqlo. 100% merino wool, lightweight, machine washable (not a must at all for me). I liked Uniqlo merino sweaters before but never bought one because they’ve been always too long on me. Size M is 22” long now! I also like that the crew neck is not too wide and fit close around a neck.&nbsp;</div><div>I like them buttoned up and unbuttoned. Bought black and navy. Liked cream, grey and green, too and had to stopped myself.&nbsp;</div><div>The only negative is that buttons are a bit thin, I might replace mine.&nbsp;</div> </p>
