In my view (that of a wide-waisted, narrow-hipped woman), if you want your leggings to stay up and you do not want muffin top, you absolutely must buy high waisted. I'm normally a legging-hater, because they traditionally slide down on me. These ones don't. At all. They are thick and stretchy, with a high rise and a wide, flat, comfortable waistband.
