I don’t own anything distressed either. However , I LOVE it on others. My cousin who is 64 wears distressed jeans and looks AMAZING. But I think it’s her overall look. She has funky hair , funky glasses , etc. it’s totally her personality. It’s not mine in the least. So I think I would look and feel uncomfortable and it would project outwardly. What you have on sounds lovely. The pandemic also helped move things along for me. I was brought up in a Portuguese family. We always wore proper shoes ( not sneakers ) , and there were public clothes and private at home clothes. Even at my age with two grown kids , I was still a bit attached to that. During the pandemic I discovered cropped joggers , sneakers , fly away toppers in sweatshirt material .... and I’m never going back. In the beginning ( at least in my area ) , there was so much confusion over tights and leggings. And some leggings were not opaque. I remember going to a movie and there was a young couple in front of me. She was wearing “leggings” that were really opaque tights with a white crotch. And she wasn’t the only one i would end up seeing like that. </p> <p>The one pair I have are a heavy ponte material. But I still can’t bring myself to wear a non tunic length top. But please don’t ask me questions about how to distinguish them. ... it took me 11 years to just arrive at “leggings” hahahahahaha. </p> <p>Rachy .... and I think I got used to it after all this time.
