I like 6 through 9! Especially 6, with the simplicity of the white tee. I also think it would be fab with a red top in a silhouette similar to any of the last ones here. Or a red cotton poplin collared blouse.

Cute skirt . I think it is begging for a red knit top. Looking at your photos, it may feel best with a top worn out or semi tucked

I really like the new ones with the clogs (#6 and #9). I think you have a range of options here; it's a matter of taste and personal preference. The second batch is a little more straightforward and perhaps more traditionally "figure flattering" with the trim, tucked top paired with the A-line skirt, while the first batch (esp the gray sweatshirt and blue oxford tied at the waist) seems a little more trendy/fashion-y to me. I could see wearing the white t-shirt (#6) with a layer over it, e.g. a denim jacket or cropped cardigan.

The white slides ( Birks?) and dark ones with white soles look better to my eye ( personal preference ).

I would go with a fitted knit top, tucked, so you are not fighting the volume of the skirt. I don’t do cheery stripes, so would try a fitted solid T with your preferred neckline and sleeve length.

I would try it with a more fitted top, or a t-shirt. I find that works for me if the skirt has an A-line. I had a denim skirt in a similar silhouette and donated it. It just was not looking right on me. I have a different denim skirt that is more tapered towards the hem and I get the look I am after with ease.

I’m liking #1 and the last one. The ties waists are often my solution to the proportion problem too, but they are a little busy with the skirt detail. It’s a great piece but I can see the challenge of it! I think I prefer lower contrast with it than the white top.

I like the first look best. I think it has to do with the sleeve line, which seems sort of geometric and more similar to the lines of the skirt. The other sleeves taper at their cuff edges, but the sleeves of the first shirt are straight or possibly flare a bit at the cuff.

As a skirt fiend, I believe almost all can be salvaged. I agree w/ Lisa P about the white top & with Runcarla about a mariner tee-type top, boat neck & 3/4 sleeve if you care for those. Or a fitted or slightly fitted knit top, tucked or hip length. I think the shape of the skirt is good!

Can you tell us about the skirt? It seems dressier than the tops your are putting with it - kind of jarring to me. But now I am seeing a bunny rabbit on the side? Cute!

I would try a fitted ribbed knit in stripes, like a polo-style - try blue/white or red/white, or brighter colors like lime, or orange in mixed color stripes, or even one color if you don't like stripes.
