You are right. I use thin pieces to layer up. It also makes it easy to de-layer if I overheat (which is frequent). I have a thin black wool cardigan that I often wear under the ivory jacket. I had the idea from the beginning of this project that I would like to do a vest/waistcoat look. But waistcoats are hard to find. It struck me that the COS top has a similar shape to a buttoned waistcoat, and adds some nice shine (similar to a waistcoat), so I decided to try it out that way.</p> <p>Regarding the necklace layering. I posted a link previously about some inspiration that I got for this. I will post it again on a separate thread.</p> <p><b>Joy</b>, the gloves are a stretchy viscose blend. I think you could wear them inside. They are handmade from Etsy. That's good for me because I have large hands and am not an easy fit. They are starting to pill a bit on the palm (because of the rubbing caused by carrying my bag). I am still very happy with them.
