That's why I normally try to go shoe shopping after a whole day on my feet. My feet and ankles don't really look <i>swollen</i>, my feet are just wide per se. </p> <p>Thanks Ryce. They're usually fine to start with and then after a while they feel too constricting. With the weather and wardrobe I'm having right now I haven't worn them all that much so far, but it's getting obvious that it's not something that will get better if I just break the shoes in. I'm really sad that they don't seem to work after all.</p> <p>I have decided to make an appointment with an orthopedist soon, I want them to check out my feet. Getting insoles would mean different shopping needs, so I won't buy new shoes until that is resolved. But I fear I might need to resell the oxfords. :(</p> <p>(The ballet flats I had ordered to wear with the dress at the end of August didn't work out either, btw.) </p>
