Lovely, that first shirt. I liked the second too, though of course unsure of fit considerations --- but just wondering if the pattern seems a little similar to the first? Though the colour is yummy.

Love the first shirt on you! It fits well in a casual, relaxed, yet structured way.

I would need to see how the second shirt fits Kirti, in order to be sure.

I usually wear t shirts, since it is difficult for me to find shirts that fit my bust and blouses that aren't shapeless.

Anyway, I finally have two contenders for shirts that I like.

#1 is a blouse from Benetton that I tried on a few weeks ago. It is a little long, kind of like a short tunic. It would work with skinnies or tucked into skirts, I think. It would need a cami underneath, since it is a little low, but there is no gaping/pulling at the buttons. It is 100% cotton.

#2 is a blouse from Kookai. This is cotton too. It is a lot more fitted on me than the model in the pic. The top button gapes a wee bit, so I am planning to get a tailor to either sew the placket/fix a tack. This would also work both with jeans and tucked.

I like them both and they would work with all my bottoms, except two printed summery skirts and my new floral pants. I can see them working with all my toppers as well. Ideally I would like one plain unprinted blouse too, but have had zero luck in that dept. I am planning to get a few solid coloured t shirts though, and keep looking for solid shirts.

What do you think? Would they be good additions to my wardrobe?
