I wouldn't have thought of adding the vest except for Angie's ensemble. A denim jacket would be fun in cooler temps, and would echo the blue in the pants. </p> <p>Carter, I think you're right - I picked that tee because it had a little blue in the graphic but the light color makes it look a little unbalanced.&nbsp; Thanks for the hair comment, kellygirl - it was a bit frizzy that day but curly is the only way to go when it's hot!</p> <p>The ALGO ladies will laugh but for me there was just a ton going on with this outfit - several different colors and textures at once, including printed pants and a graphic tee, both of which I would normally wear with plain jeans or top. This was last week's, with the printed pants and graphic tee. Somehow most of my outfit was from Lucky Brand - the navy dotted pants, California-themed tee, and dark taupe cage sandals. It was mega-hot so a jacket wasn't happening; I added a olive vest from JC Penney instead. I didn't love this and I think it shows even in the photos - it's not a bad outfit, it just has a lot going on with it, and the loose pants aren't the most flattering on me anyway. (Very comfy when it's hot out, though!) If you have any feedback or suggestions for improvement, I'd love to hear it.</p> <p>In other August challenge news, I wore the same thing both weekend days this weekend, so I have worn 30 different items total in the 9 days (including shoes), with four items being repeated once. </p>
