Women never comment on them, but men will stop me in the street, in the subway, at a party to compliment them. And the really interesting thing is they all say the same thing: “what pretty shoes!” In Spanish, in English, in Chinese depending on the person— they have all chosen that same “pretty” in their own language. Isn’t that ODD??? I feel like I rarely hear men use the word “pretty,” but there must be some visceral floral response going on here.... </p>
