I run cold anyway, but I tend to buy year-round trousers and blazers for work as much as possible. The grey blazer and both of my black pants will be fine. (Also, inside = A/C even if it happens to be warm outside.)</p> <p><b>Suz/Sal</b>: Lisap was the first to make me think I could mix the blues successfully (turquoise of the shell and softer true blue of the shoes). I'm not a matchy-matchy type anyway, really ever, so I am inclined to try and see how this works. I like the authority it shows, especially dressed down with the lace and funky earrings. I know what you mean about that cardigan of Stylebee's -- it is TDF. But I'm not sure if it's too arty a look for me, or just too much fabric? Plus, it's sold out, and others I've seen don't have the inherent structure of hers. (They're so drapey and grandpa.) I'd love to try to find one like hers to give a try. Or if you have a sharp- looking long vest, structured. Meaning, I like the idea of the 3rd piece for authority but tempered with more fun and glam. This gray blazer looks fab on you- it’s basic but yours fits really well.<br /> For pants would examine what give s good some overall silhouette. With that jacket you may find that cropped pants give it the more modern feel it needs , plus you rock them. For shoes, agree the bit of heel really helps Jazz things up, but be sure they’re comfy enough so you’re in charge of your feet and not vice versa.<br /> I would start doing some tryons now as that will show up unexpectedly good of bad combos, proportions, fit. I am SO bad about assuming x + y will of course go together and ggdn will realize mg top is too short, or whatever. This is not typical -- these days, most projects end with a report, although occasionally clients will ask for phone presentations (I did one of those last week also). But in January I presented at two conferences, and then coming up I have a big presentation in Feb. And that's where I can use your help.</p> <p>This presentation is very different: both intimate and very high visibility. It's going to be a very small meeting -- fewer than 10 people -- and will take place at a strategic meeting at a resort. Two of the people will be the CEOs of the two companies who are working on a joint venture that I led some research to explore (and I am presenting the results of the research). The clients I traveled with for the research dressed, for the most part, in very sharp&nbsp;business&nbsp;casual. (This is the country music industry -- laid back, southern but very respectable.) One man in impeccable denim, modern black oxfords, and a pressed blue button down. (No tie). A woman in pants and booties, a knit top, long vest, statement jewelry.&nbsp; I'm assuming business casual will be the dress code especially because of the setting.</p> <p>I don't necessarily think of myself as having the sharpness that I think this event will require, but I also don't want to appear too stiff. I had originally planned on wearing a dress but given the small group, I am now not sure. And what to do with my legs? Knowing my style, what kind of outfit would you suggest? (Just throwing a few items from my wardrobe below - don't feel limited to these.) </p>
