<p><div>Thanks, everyone! These are very thin, silky pants, so read more summery to me--that is, I don't think they would look good with boots.</div><div><br /></div><div><b>Angie</b>, I will try that! I think I'll enjoy them a lot more if they are clearly cropped rather than this in-between length. <br /></div>

<p>Ohh, I love paisley and that looks like a rich palette—cool that you’re trying to save them! If the thing on one side bugs you, get it fixed, but I can’t see it here.<br />
I think those pants want to be long. If there isn’t enough seam allowance in the hem, then go with Janet’s suggestion to wear boots with these. Your pale ones would work, but if it were I, I’d try to up the drama with something darker.

<p>The fit looks fine and if they could go longer I would try that.

<p>They don't look visibly large on you at all! The length is that length that so many pants are on me, so I kind of want to see them either longer (which may not be possible as I know most pants don't have that much seam allowance) or a little shorter, or wear them with booties to hide the problem (that's what I do with most of my pants!). Can you roll them, or is the print only on the outside?&nbsp;

<p><div>I've worn these pants at this length for the past couple of years, but now suddenly the length looks wrong. Should it be shorter or longer? If shorter, by how much?</div><div><br /></div><div>Also, I welcome feedback on the fit around my waist/hips. They were too big and I had them tailored but I think they are still a bit too wide for me. (Also post-tailoring they developed a weird misshapen outline on one side :(&nbsp; one of the reasons I changed tailors...) I'm not sure they can take another tailoring cut-cut-cut-sew-sew-sew...</div><div><br /></div><div>I was so unsure that I didn't wear this outfit today. Still I love the paisley print and the color palette of these pants so would like to make them work...<br /></div><div><br /></div><div><br /></div>
