My first thought was a really well put together lawyer- I thought to check your profile and I see accountant instead but not far off. I would have confidence in you as a client- I have to see lawyers and accountants to look after our businesses and there can be an undefinable something when the female ones look just right, you have it in spades! Congratulations on your new position.<br /> In NZ we sadly have a big gender gap as well. I am not too badly affected as female GPs are paid as well as males mostly these days and I do negotiate for myself in the second smaller job where I scored a modest pay rise. I hope to help my daughters to negotiate well for themselves but the gap is said to start soon after university and they are scared to ask. The younger one got a big rise without asking. We have a real issue in Australia that statistically women who do the same job as men are on average paid less, we call it "the gender gap". Being well dressed does give me confidence and having a cohesive wardrobe makes getting dressed in the mornings a nice way to start the day no matter what challenges are ahead. Because I live a relatively quiet life, getting dressed for work is when I get to wear my nicer clothes. I added the brocade skirt because it was a fun print and can be worn with a few other items too. The apricot suit I could pull apart and wear with different pieces - but I really like it most together.
