So frustrating! I have the same issue with petite departments. So, for example, now you might find a section for EF, or petites, back then, you would have looked in Ladies' sweaters, or Ladies' dresses. Wow, I did not realize petite departments were also diminishing.&nbsp;</p> <p>I also have purchased items in store that I never would have purchased online, and I have purchased many, many items during NAS in multiple sizes and colors, only to return all of them.&nbsp;</p> <p>I would say, please don't boycott as it is still better to have a B&amp;M store to try on shoes, etc. as I am as hard to fit in shoes as clothing. I will inquire, but I think that a letter to headquarters will probably be the most effective. But I bet the decision is profit driven. Even in T.J.Maxx the clothing section is shrinking and the other sections are increasing.&nbsp; &nbsp; &nbsp;</p> <p>We'll see if I make it this year to the third store in a city I never go to over an hour away to check out what's there. You can bet that I will call first. I'm trying to scope it out for next year, but my guess is that I will skip it next year and then figure out the changing landscape for 2019.</p> <p>And I want to mention that in spite of my complaints, I realize that I am lucky to live somewhere that within an hour to an hour and a half, I do have options. It makes it much harder to find them in the store and I wonder if the next step is to eliminate them completely in store. I asked an SA where the Encore department was. I was told that the store no longer had one, and that the store had replaced it with a restaurant.<br /> Then I realized that my local store had expanded, added a restaurant, and eliminated the same department.<br /> I wonder if the long term plan is to go online only for larger sizes. </p>
