I’ve struggled with scoliosis and neck and back pain all my life. For me Alexander Technique has been life changing, my posture is better and I rarely suffer pain. It’s an investment worth every cent.

I am all for effective and consistent Physio Therapy. If you put in the effort, it is life changing! Tedious but worth it.

As for posture correcting bras - I am out of suggestions.

As for sports bras - most I find uncomfortable and I can't wait to take the thing off after yoga. My daily pretty Simone Perele underwire bras feel like soothing balm compared to sports bras!

Lyn67: So true. I had sports bras that triggered tension headaches. Trying to fix one problem— the dread bounce — led to another. I agree with the suggestions above that a physical therapist can really help with posture issues, and is likely a better use of your $$. Mine really helped me with neck problems after an accident. I still do a routine she gave me.

I don't have an answer, but wow-did MsMaven's comment hit me somehow! She said "Thanks to the exercises my chest measurement has expanded". This struck with me for a moment! It is often said that women wear the wrong size of bras. At least from flaterry and fashion point of view we are often encouraged to rather wear a snug bra band and bigger cups-instead of the other way (larger too comfy band and smaller cup). I know a bra can be comfy without constricting.... But even so, a bra is there on our body day after day-for our whole life- you may say horses for courses I guess..:-( Bet that still can influence women's posture and for ex. breathing physiology in a way the men's never is... Food for thought.

I'd like to know the answer to your question as well. I've had P/T for upper back and neck problems, including kyphosis, but have yet to find a decent bra. Thanks to the exercises my chest measurement has expanded and I need new bras for that, but haven't had the energy to go for a fitting.

I've also tried various back braces and haven't found them very helpful. My therapist was negative on braces, but I've tried different styles anyway.

My back and neck are much improved but still working on posture. I spend too much time sitting or on a computer/iPad and I fall back into old habits.

Good luck on your search. I hope someone here can help. Great to see you here again!

Nice to see you, texstyle!

I have no information on posture correcting bras, alas. But I wish you luck in the search. I suspect in the end, exercise / physio is probably the way to go but it's possible something like this could serve as a reminder to the body.

It’s nice to see you!!

I was a little curious when I saw ads for these, but in clicking through, I find the size options limited. Nothing for small band/large cup size. I have scoliosis so posture is always a challenge for me. Pilates is helping.

I was mildly curious about these, so I hopped over to abrathatfits on Reddit, and there are dozens of complaints about Forme and their products.

I had a course of physical therapy years ago to help with shoulder and neck pain, and their exercises really improved my posture as well as addressing the pain. We spend so much time hunched over a desk/screen as well as carrying a loaded bag on one side. At least I did.

It's been forever since I've posted or even visited but a question came up today for me about bras so I thought I'd reach out. I would like to find a posture correcting bra if possible. I looked at the Forme brand but they are incredibly expensive so I wonder if anyone here has tried them or some other brand they might recommend? I have trouble with anything rough rubbing my skin or overly compressing me so I'm hesitant on most of what I've seen.
